virgin supplied router

hi are the wireless virgin routers much cop? i have my pc in the back room and my modem in the front should this cause issues with speeds etc the previous router i had connected directly to my hardwire broadband cable with another hard wired cable from the router into the pc .thanks

It`s a real basic router but it should do one end of a house to the other ok.
Whether you get your full speeds or not will depend on many factors so all you can really do is try it and see over a few days.
A wired connection will generally always be better of course.
