With this offer I honestly can't see BT Sport coming for the forseeable future now

They offered £100 before
unfortunately, after I had taken the £50 offer

VM will be comitting business suicide if they dont get BT Sport on by next Saturday.
I have already said that l will switch over to Sky, l am a big football fan, and l will go anywhere if l can get all the football on my service.
I cannot understand why VM are not saying anything.

From numerous comments on here, DS forum & VM forum it is hinted that BT Sport will launch on VirginMedia from 17th August... but I could be wrong!

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Why dont we all boycott the Sports channels on VM, and then VM will start to think about the customers - which keep the cable network alive.
I see they have taken off one ESPN channel and left just two.

I think VM make a loss for each sale of skysports (or at least make no money; this is what the smallworld owner stated) so you be doing them a favour
Besides which why boycotting a sky product would that send a message to VM, BT are withholding (allegedly before we start the same debate, for the purpose of this statement working with the assumption of a pro VM stance )

Arthur both VM and BT are on stock market they cant say anything to a deal is done or it totally collapses so what do you expect VM to say when they cant say anything and you have all ready said you not pay £12PM for bt sport which is the price on sky or £15PM if you want HD and you got to pay directly to bt for it on sky

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Dave42, my whole point is that VM must know if there is going to be a deal or not, the suicide is that before 17th August, many subscribers would already have left.
All VM are doing is 'playing' the subscribers of VM and think we are stupid.

Arthur, why can you not understand that this is like a game of poker? VM are out for the best deal - how do you suppose they can do that if they give away their every move, tactic, strategy. Please just understand that negotiations are secret and no matter how important you think you are as a customer, you are not going to get any accurate information until the deal is done. If you cannot be patient, maybe you should consider moving over to the dark side!
