As per my links the GB-B3 is adjustable, but the G-B3 is not. It's the B after the G that matters.
If the screen can be physically rotated to portrait position, then that suggests it is height adjustable.

Ergonomics section says height adjustable for XB version.


Looking at the manuals for the height adjustable ones, doesn't give much detail. Sounds like they need a bit of force(ie not simply sliding). No button mentioned. Might need placing face down on soft material(towel?) to protect the screen and then push or pull as required.

Just realised I linked to the wrong part number 2783 instead of 2780, so I still can't find 2780 B3 if I Google.

Ken can you double check the part number and post the link from the website you bought it from?

This may be the issue.

When you first unpack your new iiyama ProLite monitor with a height adjustable stand, you need to follow these instructions to allow you to adjust the height of the monitor. If you don’t follow this process the monitor will remain locked on the stand.

The button is a one-time release. After that at any time, you push or pull to adjust as in this video.

just a tip if your monitor gets stuck (GB2488hsu) might be problem on everyone don't know. but if it gets stuck on the bottem first push down the screen then you can press the button again

Novatech will collect the faulty monitor XB2783HSU-B3 and organise the replacement, they verified that it dose have height adjustment.

Have you tried the stopper pin/button? Have you tried the suggestion of pushing the screen down and then pressing the button again?


I should imaging that the stopper pin/button is to prevent it moving around during handling.

Tried all that with no success.

At least now you know that you have to release the "stopper" mechanism straight away.

Take extra care assembling it's replacement because if you run into the same issue it means you're doing something wrong or not putting enough force on the moving parts.
