Cordless phone not storing numbers

My mother has a BT7500 cordless phone with a few base stations around the house. It stopped storing more than the last three redialled calls and whatever I've tried has made no difference (rebooting etc). As the problem affects all handsets I assume storage is carried out centrally on the main base station. There is no mention of this happening anywhere on the internet so I will test the calibre of the forum for a nice original problem as if I can't fix this she'll have to throw out a perfectly good set of equipment.

I can update it already. Once I figured out everything carried out on a handset was copied to them all I went to the master base unit, and as soon as I added a called number on its phone all the older dialled numbers appeared like magic, and of course on the other three handsets as well. Hopefully this will provide a unique answer on the internet but any related information is still very welcome.
