Yes I did, corrected.
Bit rates ? A long standing argument I guess.
Most computer people (in my experience) still use MB for 1024 x 1024, and not the stupid Men in Black (MiB).

No argument. Random access memory sizes are multiples of 1024 because of the addressing mechanism, but comms speeds and hard drive sizes are and always have been multiples of 1000.
I'm with you on "MiB" though. Totally unnecessary.

im now at 4 upstreams at qam 64 here in Swansea....
1 60300000 4.625 5120 64 qam 1
2 53700000 4.55 5120 64 qam 2
3 46200000 4.475 5120 64 qam 3
4 39400000 4.45 5120 64 qam 4

1 of my 16QAM channels is on 25.8, so does that mean i'll end up with one 32/64 but the rest will stay 16....
