Well you'd better hope the new film (should it eventually materialise) is received well. The last I heard paramount/viacom are treating it as a pilot for a new star trek show.

Personally I don't think that star trek has a future as a tv series. Maybe as TV movies like Alien Nation did.

Re: Science Fiction & Fantasy Snippets

What gets me is why people just don't record these show's instead of forking out a fortune on boxsets!

I own every Star Trek Series on DVD (except the Animated series & Enterprise series 4 due on 31-10), because each box set has features that wont be seen on TV

Each box set cost approx £65.00
ENT = 21 DVDs, 3 Box sets = £195
TOS = 21 DVDs, 3 Box sets = £195
TNG = 49 DVDs, 7 Box sets = £455
DS9 = 49 DVDs, 7 Box sets = £455
VOY = 49 DVDs, 7 Box sets = £455

Total price...............................Ãâà ¢â€šÂ¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£1,755
