The injections were painful but they were a last resort. I had been trying to do the exercises for a couple of weeks and I think they may have worked eventually but I was just in continual pain and not getting any sleep.
My Dr tried giving me the strongest pain killers but they just didn't work so he arranged for me to be seen by a physio who immediately sorted out steroid injections.
Hope you start seeing some improvement soon sweetie. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you . xx

As a pain relief junky, I have had both the steroid injections and morphine patches!
Slippery slope for both types of pain relief, ended going to a chiropractor, 1hr every 6months sorted me out.
Osteoarthritis in my spine diagnosed, just keep moving and taking the tablets as required-paracetamol.

In the UK it's Yorkshire...
My moan/pet hate.
I can hear all the kids playing in their respective gardens. SWMBO is sunbathing on the garden bed with the dogs keeping her company. Me, I'm stuck in my office with 2 laptops running, my DX80 video conferencing unit and one of the mesh routers. it's very very warm. My motorbike keeps calling me....

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Main PC's fallen over again. Thought it was fixed after replacing some bulging capacitors in the PSU. Now won't even power up.
Perhaps I should just get a new PSU? It's a 350W unit so shouldn't need an expensive replacement.
At 15 odd years old and routinely used for ~8 hours daily I'm not complaining and recently the machine has been on 24/7 as it's now running my media server.

But I need a system that still runs XP SP3. This is a legacy requirement on some client software ( 16 and 32 bit for which no upgrades are available ) so I have to keep the old girl running. Plus it has all my video processing and DVD authoring programs
The lappy runs W7 Pro ( Classic shell XP look alike) for anything later.

Pretty sure hyper v or similar virtualisation products will allow you to run 16 bit and certainly 32 bit

They do - that’s what we used for embedded systems that only ran on non-supported Window versions (and you’d be amazed how many University research systems do...).
