Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
We haven't got any solid evidence on how Mike Ashley would play it. To date the only verified and negotiated bids for the club were by Amanda Staveley who was lowballing offers on a massive scale. Notably only offering 250 million. Kenyon only had £200m behind him the first time round and BZG seemingly were trolls.
Kenyon seems to be fairly focused on getting a deal done. He's persistent but as above if he's se ding brochures out to investors then nothings changed financially.
On another hand Kenyon could just be a Mike Ashley shill and trying to aid in selling the club.
I think Ashley would take staggered payments but if he doesn't it's worth noting that a £350m lump deal would be the biggest takeover in English football. That puts it into perspective how difficult a deal may be.

Kenyon and GACP submit £300m bid for Newcastle United. To be paid in 3 installments. Financed the same way the Glazers financed Man United.
I'll pass thanks. Better the devil you know. We're desperate but not that desperate.

This performance should get the price down a few quid.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Good grief how did the linesman put his flag up for a goal that was 2 yards onside.
Thank god for VAR.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Officials very poor the whole game. Better from United, gifted them a goal, their keeper made a couple of great saves. A draw flattered Arsenal.

Indeed the referee was very average for starters and how the linesman can make a clear mistake like that beggars belief.
So not happy with a point Jim?.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
Their keeper made two or three saves that on another day would have gone in, given Uniteds recent form I suppose a draw is better than nothing but I thought they just about deserved to win that one.

Re: Season 2019/2020 Football
If you read my posts from before he got the job you will see that I was never in the ‘give him the job now’ camp. I said at the time they should have waited until the end of the season as per the original agreement. That said he is not directly responsible for all the dead wood and deserves a shot at sorting it out. Things will never be properly sorted as long as the Glazers are in charge imho.

And sadly the Glazers could be in charge for a long time yet as l am just glad we got rid of Hicks and Gillett when we did.
