Re: What are you eating now?
I cooked up some venison shanks in the pressure cooker with shallots, mushrooms, herbs, red wine and stock.

Re: What are you eating now?
We just had an Anniversary lunch at a very nice local restaurant (No. 14 in Headingley).
I had Goats Cheese with Honey Roasted Figs, Chestnuts, Rocket, & Mulled Wine for starters, main course was 12oz Aged Yorkshire Rib Eye with Vine Tomatoes, Green Peppercorn Sauce, Sauté Potatoes with Rosemary & Garlic, and a Rocket & Parmesan Salad on the side; dessert was Dark Chocolate Mousse with Pistachio Ice Cream.

- the horseradish (sorry but I can’t stand the stuff) and that there is a cracking sandwich !!
M&S used to do a Sicilian lemon mayo which would have gone lovely in that

Re: What are you eating now?
I slow roasted a pork belly with some Korean BBQ sauce, served with noodles and veg in yellow bean sauce. Enough for another meal.
Tonight - I'm cooking some Italian sausages in Romesca style sauce, mash and some veg. If I turn the bangers into meatballs I think they will do 2 meals.
Tomorrow - slow cooked beef in a sticky sauce with tortillas, refried beans, sweet corn etc. This too will do 2 meals.

Re: What are you eating now?
Freshly cut by the butcher ribeye steak in all things butter British garlic & herb butter on a bed of birdseye steamfresh vegetable rice and fried mushrooms. Ribeye was seared, medium inside.

Re: What are you eating now?
Local Gusto’s just changed their menu, and we get a 40% discount off food, so we had a CBA moment and went out for a meal.
For starter, I had Calabrian Steak Tartare - the steak is seared, hand-chopped, infused with Calabrian 'nduja oil, gherkins, shallots and capers, finished with saffron aioli and toasted Puglian bread, and for main I had grain-fed Black Angus ribeye with cacio e pepe butter, skin-on-fries, & Romesco salad.
Washed down with a glass of Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Classico La Dama DOC…
