Router Problems

Hello all,

Items i have:

Router: Dlink DI-624+ . 4-5 years old
Modem: Scientific Atlantic. over 5 years old

The router was working well and then it stopped, wirelessly and wired, it appears the router was not able to pick up my ISP's Ip address, Subnet mask or Gateway.

I then tried the modem to my pc and that worked fine.

So I then tried an old router and that didnt work wired or wirelesly.

Ive just bought a Belkin router and using it wired i still cant access the internet.

on all 3 routers i am able to access the setting page nd edit passwords or security.

i have set all 3 router to factory defualt settings.

could it be the modem if so what do i do ,

PLEASE HELP, THANKS IN ADVANCE

can a ip address work with a 0 because the modems ip has a 0 on the end.

e.g. 11.111.1.0
