Re: Rate the last movie you saw
As above, so below. 3/10
Some ok shocks but well overboard on the shaky cam to the extent I felt pretty sick towards the end. Plus the ending was pretty much tacked on with loads of unanswered questions.

The Fast and Furious: Tokyo drift.
Because I was actually in a good mood, I tried to look for the good points, so here goes. It looks pretty and the car racing is good..
The Bad: It tries to an action movie and a good drama, but doesn't have enough action to pull off being an action movie, and it lacks both the good story and good acting required for a good drama.

2D or 3D?
I don't see the appeal or point in 2D, but in 3D it's quite a spectacle.

So that's a double NO vote then?
I've been down a couple of times to try see it, but the crowds of kids queuing for it put me off both times.
Maleficent gets a 9/10 from me. A very good twist on an old storyline, and beautifully made.

Yes there was certainly a lot of hyperbole about it and in my opinion it certainly not as good as some people say it is.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Promethius. Maybe with the credentials of the director (Ridley Scott) I was expecting more. Great cinematography and plenty of gore but it didn't grab/horrify like Alien*. 7/10
Left a sequel opening.
*That john Hurt moment.
