Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

Damn, means I best get Season 4 of PoI and Season 3 of Crossing Lines watched soon then, otherwise I am stuck. Might seriously think about getting rid of Netflix if I cannot change regions.

It should be; they have the UK rights, but checked yesterday and season 3 isn't on Prime (yet?).

US Netflix, and a couple of other series on there just started. Will free VPN services work?

Personally, I wouldn't trust free ones. theone2k10 posted a good while back that they pinch your bandwidth and you have no clue what it is being used for.

This: Never ever trust a free vpn they steal your bandwidth and sell it on, mostly to companies who use it to send spam or even viruses and randsomware, you can pick up a good vpn from ibvpn or cactus from as little as £3p/m.

Totally agree with and support you; i'm going to look into accessing content for free in the future.

Do Netflix give you offers when you cancel, to entice you to stay? Does Now TV?

I do believe that the content suppliers are greedy; they don't seem to understand the concept of a fair profit and, additionally, how the internet has massively changed consumption. Actually, on that second point, they do understand, but don't care because it will affect their bottom line.

However, those are the rules we currently live under, which non of us like. But that doesn't justify stealing content.

I used to think the same way PB, but when millionaire MP's are claiming for porn PPV movies, having their moats cleaned etc and multinational companies are paying less tax than people on the minimum wage, I've had a change of heart.

I feel the same way about the greed of the content producers. I hear exactly where you are coming from. But there is the old saying, "Two wrongs, don't make a right."

Never ever recieved a offer from Netflix apart from my first month free, nowtv do email me with offers just recently i had a offer of sky movies for £4.99p/m for 4 months and another month free.

BTTV: i can confirm BT are letting people out of their tv contract due to fox being removed from BT, they allowed me to exit my tv contract without penalty today all i have to do is return the youview box but i can keep the multiroom box i had, i think that might be because i'd paid £99 for the extra box though.
