Mikey Garcia vs Jessie Vargas

Some top level boxing on display on a great main card:

Sky Sports/DAZN

Mikey Garcia 39-1 vs Jessie Vargas 29-2 - Welterweight

Two of the very best. Garcia stepped up to this weight only to lose to the very best at 147 in Errol Spence and Vargas floats between 147-155, only losing to Pacman and Bradley, another two exceptional fighters. Garcia is a 4 weight world champion and Vargas a two weight world champion.

Kal Yafai 26-0 vs Roman Gonzalez 48-2 - WBA Super Flyweight title

UK's own Kal Yafai defending against a P4P great in Roman Chocolatito. A four weight world champion and only person in boxing history to win all four lowest weight titles, beaten twice in fights of the year winners with Asian breakout star Sor Rungvisai, Gonzalez holds a fairly monstrous knockout record. Kal Yafai is an exceptional talent but this is a scrap.

Julio Cesar Martinez 15-1-1 (NC) vs Jay Harris 17-0 - WBC Flyweight title
Julio Cesar Martinez can bang, and is heavy favourite but that's not a story for this. The story here is Jay Harris, UK's own and Welshman from Swansea is a current Amazon worker. This would be a huge upset and a boxing story for years to come if he pulled it off.

Joseph Parker vs Shawndell Terell Winters - Heavyweight

Coming off losses from Joshua and Whyte, Parker is in dire need of a showcase win to propel himself back into the top fight picture at Heavyweight. This is that, he's expected to make short work of his fairly average opponent.

Re: Mikey Garcia vs Jessie Vargas

Parker seen off Winters as expected, decent bit of fight in Winters though.

Jay Harris went the distance with Martinez, excellent performance and probably guaranteed him another big name, Martinez got injured in the 6th but take nothing away from a remarkable achievement for Harris. Just going the distance is a slight upset.

Kal Yafai looks lost. Gonzalez at his best and they have no answer for him. May have bitten off more than they can chew here. Yafai is getting a boxing lesson. 5 rounds down. They need an answer here quick. Better round 6 but they need knock downs to win this now. Gonzalez is a joy to watch. Yafai and camp have got this all wrong, he's in danger of being stopped. Bar a miracle this is a win for Gonzalez. Yafai will need to regroup and figure this out. Yafai is on the wrong end of the knockdown, this is a beating. Gonzalez came to fight in the pocket and Yafai a distance fighter has obliged him. That's it. Yafai brutally knocked out by Gonzalez.

No shame in losing to an all time great and former P4P #1. Yafai has to regroup and get up another level and discipline himself for fights like this.

Slow start from Garcia before stunning Vargas with a solid knockdown. Stunning turnaround. Garcia might be arriving at 147.
