Re: What are you eating now thread?
Just been to The Leeds Kitchen by James Martin, and had an excellent meal with my wife, my daughter, and her fiancé, to celebrate his birthday.
I had deep-fried soft-boiled egg with portobello mushrooms, slow-cooked ham hock and red wine shallot purée for starters, followed by roast rump of lamb with crushed peas and broad beans, marjoram and pickled chanterelle mushrooms and a side order of triple-fried chips, finished off with white chocolate and whisky croissant butter pudding with single malt ice cream (and a cappucino).
I need to go lie down now.....

Just got back from a soft opening at Australasia. Situated underneath the Armani building on Deansgate. Excellent food & really cool surroundings.
Menu attached...

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Well, soft openings are used to try out their systems before the real opening. Hence 33% off the normal food bill!

Bacon, egg, mushrooms and tomato, toast, tea and more toast and tea for me ATM.
