Spotify data charges from April 3

But you can get 3 months free Spotify if you re-register

Does that mean another new contract?

Re: Spotify data charges from April 3

Does anyone know what sort of data usage Spotify takes up? I have a 500 MB allowance each month that I struggle to use more than 30 MB of. So Spotify would help me use more of it, but I don't want to go over the allowance.

1.2 MB per minute on the free desktop service less than 1 MB on mobile so your 500 meg will be gone in 100 tracks ish. You would be better off using one of the many free radio providers imo

Re: Spotify data charges from April 3

Thanks Ben

I put the code in that was texted to me,followed the online instructions and got this:

'It looks like you've already registered to get Spotify Premium from Virgin Media.

You can either:

Create a new Spotify account to get another 3 months Spotify Premium for free. Just click here to get set up.
Wait until your current Spotify Premium offer expires, then come back to claim your 3 free months.'

How do I know when my current Spotify Premium offer has expired?

Re: Spotify data charges from April 3

The Spotify desktop app caches stuff locally, even in Free mode. If you're a creature of habit with a few well-worn playlists it shouldn't be taxing your downloads too much.
