removing virgin logo from wallpaper

I have recently purchased a nokia 6300 on the Virgin network and although quite happy with it I am not so happy about the fact that the word Virgin is displayed on a picture of my kids, just by my daughters head!! ( I have their pic as my wall paper. Is there anyway to remove this, i have played about with the display settings with minimal success. (Apologies if this has been posted before- I am new to the forum despite having had Virgin media tv, phone, mobile and broadband for a while) Thanks.

Re: removing virgin logo from wallpaper

Hi, welcome to the forum.
You could try this:

1: Go to settings, then profiles,(then select the profile you use, ie outdoor, or normal etc)
2: scroll down to display,
3: then scroll to wallpaper, it should give you an option to choose another one or to turn the wallpaper off.

Hope this helps

Seeing as the Wallpaper is the photo of his kids, I would assume he wants it there.

Try the follow (Note: I cannot guarantee this works, as I found it on another forum, and don't have a 6300 to try it on).

Go to
1) Menu
2) Settings
3) Display Settings
4) Operator logo

Finally, select "Off".

Have tried this but had no luck, so far the only solution i can find is to make the font the same colour as the photo background, but then i lose sight of the time and date. Thanks anyway.

do a google search for free ringtones free logos, it brings up loads of hits that you might be able to get a blank logo from.
