It is theoretically possible with totally deionised water till of course it starts to corrode the metals. Remember it is the minerals that conduct not the H2O.
I am sure we have all seen PCs cooled in oil. There are better fluids that can be used.

Yes I would think using striped down water (No minerals) might be the best!

Thats interesting thinking about that. So if you poured water WITH NO MINERALS on to a live board it wouldnt hurt it??
as I said in theory. The water would have to be totally deionised and the board I guess would have to be spottles. It is not something to try hahaha pure h2o is a poor conductor
