Teesside area, North East England.

Thanks for that Mythica as Teeside voted overwhelmingly to come out of Europe so that poll is the exact opposite of what they voted for.

Yes, this is why I thought it was very interesting. I know in the grand scheme of things 42k isn't a lot of people but it's a lot for a poll that was posted last night.

So we have no idea how many people's vote hasn't changed? What a useless poll.

The poll is separate to the question. The poll itself is always going to be useless, the only useful one would be a referendum. That said its interesting considering the outcome of the real vote from the Teesside area.

When are people going to finally get it it. This "deal" that everybody keeps going on about, is only legally meant to be an interim temporary(check your dictionary) measure before leaving, whichever way you look at it. End of Oct 2019 or end of Dec 2020. Any future ongoing deal has yet to be discussed by anybody.

Nothing there related to what happens after we leave.

After we leave, we negotiate trade agreements with the EU and the rest of the world.

It’s entirely speculative, and goes against all educated analysis. However we digress as it’s not a “development”.

That's still not connected to anything as a result of any "deal" everybody keeps going on about. Whether we accept or reject the "deal", is irrelevant to how the country is afterwards. People keep implying that it's relevant and connected, when it very much isn't supposed to be.
The backstop will most likely put the kibosh on any future deals with the EU, and whoever they have a trade deal with. That is it's very aim. To put something in the temporary arrangement, that goes beyond the temporary period, without ever being able to agree or not agree to anything.

Re: Brexit Development(s) Discussion
It’s entertaining that Johnson is keeping the details from the Cabinet. Clearly this isn’t the Brexit anyone hoped for/was promised.
