Re: What have you just bought?
1.7kg beef pot roast joint for £11.97 in Lidl today. Doesn't say what the cut is but brisket is a good bet.

4kg of chicken breast for £9. From Sainsburys!
All sliced and vacuum-bagged ready for the freezer.

Re: What have you just bought?
Lidl still had some of the beef pot roast joints this morning so I got another (1.9kg £13.52) to go in the freezer.

Re: What have you just bought?
We bought a Simba mattress and bedding the other day. This morning my wife asked if we had a second duvet cover. When I said no sha asked how much they were and it took me a while to persuade her it was worth spending £100 on a second one.
I went to buy it off Amazon and, in small writing as I ordered it, it said click here for 40% off applied at checkout.
No sign of 40% off when I checked out but when I got the email it confirmed I’d only been charged £60!
Result.

Re: What have you just bought?
A new TV, thought we were going to get the 55" version but Mrs G tells me size does matter so we came out with the 65" model. All being well it'll be here around the end of the week.

Did the premium go down? Mine did by about £50. Similarly the buildings insurance this year went down by £30.
I think this is the result of the regulator requiring that existing customers get the same deal as new ones.

Another Sonos Speaker. Love these little speakers.
No longer have space for a full Hifi setup but these Sonos speakers are quite good.
