Jitter/connection problems

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to stream on my 50mb connection but I tried testing my video/audio jitter on http://myspeed.visualware.com/index.php and both my results for audio and video jitter are 55.0ms+.

Is it possible to fix this? Or is there a problem with my line.

In terms of details about my connection, when I download several files at a time i'm downloading 6mb ps which is normal I presume.

I downloaded Win MTR ( http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/ ) and my results to the Virgin Media DNS server is this:
|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| WinMTR statistics |
| Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last |
|------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------|
|--------------.cable.virginmedia.com - 0 | 103 | 103 | 5 | 10 | 97 | 5 |
|--------------8.network.virginmedia.net - 0 | 103 | 103 | 4 | 9 | 45 | 10 |
| cache1.service.virginmedia.net - 0 | 103 | 103 | 5 | 9 | 50 | 7 |
|________________________________________________| ______|______|______|______|______|______|

However I tested this about half an hour ago and the best I was receiving was 60-70 on all 3.

My downstream power levels are listed as:
Power Level
(dBmV) 10.09 - 8.70 - 5.57 - 6.58 (DS1-DS2-DS3-DS4)

I'm not sure what the downstream SNR is but i'll post the only dB values on the 'downstream' section:
RxMER
(dB) 38.61 38.26 37.94 38.26 (DS1-DS2-DS3-DS4)

My upstream transmit power is:
Power Level
(dBmV) 41.50 N/A N/A N/A

I downloaded the TCP optimzer and all these results were recorded with the changes the program suggested.

I'm not sure if i'm with langley or bromley but when I type my postcode in http://www.dslzoneuk.net/ntl_region.php it directs me to here http://shop.virginmedia.com/home.htm...EG_RED_ntl.com

Apologies if this information is meaningless but i'm clueless when it comes down to networks/internet speeds but is there anyway to resolve my streaming problems? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks alot.
