Hi there.
Many people here like the Linksys Routers.
To help us help you, do you use a cable connection or an ADSL connection ?
Do you want wired or wireless ?

Re: what router do u recomendend
The Linksys WRT54G series routers have been popular, but some have experienced issues with them and torrents - There are other posts on here referring to a workaround. However torrents can be a problem for most network scenarios due to the loads they create.
Wireless is great but not necessarily for gaming - it adds another little hop inot the overall route, somthing that can add to any potential for lag. Go wired if you possibly can for that.

I'd recommend a Linksys WRT54G too.

You can save yourself some money by not using Currys as well...

Re: what router do u recomendend
I've had both Netgear & Linksys wireless routers & both performed well. Not had cause to use a wired router from either of them though.
Wired router technology is so mature now, that I doubt you'd have problems with any manufacturer...

Re: what router do u recomendend
Is it worth buying a second hand Belkin wireless G router F5D7230uk4 from Ebay ? At the moment my old Linksys wireless B router isn't good enough and needs to be reset 7 or 8 times per day to keep it working. I just want one that's good enough ad one that doesn't need resetting all the time.

Re: what router do u recomendend
You could try Ebay but routers have gone down quite a bit now and I'm sure you could find a brand new one for quite cheap.

I'm trying ebay now. Just got out bid on one router and that went for £15. I'll keep trying.
