Hi am trying to set this up on a mac i have the network key and can connect to router but the router will not connect to the internet the modem sign is red and i have picked dynamic as connection and it asks for a host name what is that any help would be great thanks

On your MAC what's the gateway and DNS setting? They should both point towards the router, also what DNS/Gateway is the router picking up??

No idea as I've not touched a mac in years..

But the gateway/dns on the mac should point to the router, without that you'll be able to see the router but you won't be able to route past the router to the internet. They should be set via DHCP unless you have it set to manual

I think it's all in System Preferences/Network

but it's years since I touched a Mac too.
