Yorkshire coach alleged to have abused girls.

Just seen this on the local news. One of the girls involved says that, when she told someone about it, she was told that, if she made a complaint, the coach would have to leave, the club would have to close down and it would all be her fault!!!

Absolutely shocking.

But nothing actually proven then.

In 2008, a woman reported alleged abuse to police and British Gymnastics, but after an inquiry no action was taken.

Mr Wild, who denies the allegations and has never been charged with any offence

Of course ANYONE will deny doing it....... I think the penalty should be worse for those who try to lie of it!

There will be tons. The trouble is that it's very difficult to prove historical sex abuse claims. It would be better if the offences were reported at the time, but victims are often too afraid, ashamed, embarrassed etc.

Look how long it took for people to come forward in the football sex abuse cases.

No, at the moment these are only allegations.
