I'm amazed I never replied to this comment of yours before Chris. Thankyou for confirming Carl Sagan, the astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, and science communicator, didn't base his moral philosophy on any religion or religious belief but on pure science.
He has remained unchallenged because no-one of any religion nor in the science world has been able to challenge him, he stated fact not any fairy tale.
