Just had some torrential rain in Cambridgeshire, had to rush and close the windows, unfortunately it only lasted 5 mins!!!!

We are getting some light rain which is better for the gardens than heavy rain.

Got a really heavy downpour for 20 mins just then. Was so heavy the Sky went off.

It rained during the night and again early this morning, the air feels a lot fresher. Next the grass is going to need cutting.

I'm also glad to have a few days of rain and cooler weather, but it should return to warmer weather in a few days here, i just hope it is not as hot as the last 2 months!!!
