Exclamation Walk With Me

Walk With Me, That is if you have a connection. Is anybody out there having problems with the Nintendo "Walk With Me" WIFI ?

I have been using a Netgear for sometime, WII,DS,DSI all connect without problems, Browser Working, Shop channel on WII and DSi all fine.

About 3 weeks ago I started using the Walk With Me, and at the end of the day upload and download the data via WIFI, without problems, connects first time everytime, that is except 3 days ago.

About 3 days ago, I cannot connect to the Nintendo Walk With Me server, lots of error codes. Contacted Nintendo (See below) But nothing has been changed here, and shop and browser still works fine, as do all WIFI games.

The error code that are receiving is due to the fact that your internet connection is timing out. In most cases this is resolved by changing TCP timeout value on your router to a larger value, 5 minutes works fine in most cases and you may need to contact your ISP or router manufacturer for help with this. Alternatively try changing the MTU value on the console to 1500
Router already has a MTU of 1500, but its been working anyway. As for the TCP ? Isnt that in a program anyway? cant find a setting in the Router.

Contacted Netgear, waiting reply...

So can VM be the problem, or just Nintendo not knowing there is a problem, or do know but not saying...

All things around the home, Cell Phones, DS, DSi, Wii work 100%, all except the walk with me server

Update, took the DSi and visited a friend who has Sky ADSL, it connected first time within seconds and updated. (They also use a Netgear router)

Re: Walk With Me

DNS Issue perhaps?

Change DNS servers to 4.2.2.3 and 4.2.2.6 and try again. Not sure how to do it on the Netgear though!
