Re: Cable and wireless router.
1. Check device mangler. Make sure there's no exclamations or crosses on network devices.
2. Check network settings. Are they ALL set to DHCP?
3. In a command prompt, do an ipconfig /all and check you see the correct gateway/IP/DNS/subnet, etc.
4. Test it with a.n.other PC - take a laptop or something if you have it and try that.
5. Plug the PC directly into the modem, and see if that works directly.
