Hi there. I'm having exactly the same problems setting up sms texting from my Philips phone on VM cable. I've tried everything except adding extra 'P's to the send number. Daft question : how do you get the letter P when keying in a phone number?. Please help as I'm tearing out what little hair I have left!

Depends on your phone, you'll need to consult the instruction manual.
