Re: Film4 HD launches on Sky 2nd Sep 2013

I can't remember the last time I watched a movie on film4 so I really don't care if their is a Film4 +1 or a Film4 HD. Film4 is not even included in my favorites. At least TCM shows Longmire and so is not the total waste of bandwidth that Film4 has become.

Re: Film4 HD launches on Sky 2nd Sep 2013

I am a big fan of Film 4. Sure it's not wall to wall hits however they do show the odd gem that is good to revisit. It's free movies in HD at the end of the day. If you don't like adverts, record the movie and skip through the adverts.

Heard a little rumor that Film 4 will become one of SKY's catch up channels. Free movies on demand can't be a bad thing surely?

Re: Film4 HD launches on Sky 2nd Sep 2013

Film 4 has produced some gems in the past. Not necessarily big blockbusting movies but films of quality none the less.It is a good channel to dip into once in a while.
