Are you on the Extra or Premium tier? I plan to let my sub expire Sept 2024 then buy a 3 month Extra sub and then a 12 month sub during Christmas deals.
Have you upgraded to a PS5 yet it goes very well with a compatible TV and games play great at 60fps, I struggle to touch any gsmecthats only 30fps now?

Re: PS5 thread
I'm on extra. Giung to let it expire in July.
No still on PS4 Pro. Not planning on PS5 for a while yet. Built a mega beast of a gaming PC in June so no real need for a new console just now.
Even when GTA VI launches I'll be waiting on the PC release.
I do like the new slim version however. If it got a price reduction I'll probably get one. Mainly wanted it for VR but I'll just get a quest 3.

Re: PS5 thread
Well I was all in what they showed looked great...... They then ruined it by showing the Price..... £700 without disc drive, I was expecting £600, I'll still likely upgrade but that price wasn't expected.

Re: PS5 thread
Anybody else picked up the PS5 Pro?
As Playstation is my sole gaming platform of choice I am very happy with how it is performing.

Re: PS5 thread
Nah, too expensive and doesn't do anything my PC can't already do better. PS5 Pro is 16.2 TFLOPS. MY GPU has 52.3 TFLOPS. I can get many of the newer games on PC already, the ones I've wanted to play anyway.
Maybe if the price drops by the time GTA6 comes out I'll consider it. As PC will be at least 1.5 years away from that date.

Well for anyone who decides they want to spend crap loads on a PC and use in a different environment to where a console is often used then stick to PC I agree, but I had the choice to spend 1000s on a PC but it's not for me, I gave up PC gaming for the sofa and TV when the Xbox 360 came out( I know you can hook a pc upto a TV but it's not very convenient.)
But that shouldn't take away the fact that next generation consoles are fantastic and often do things far easier than what PCs can do at a far cheaper price.
Steve I wouldn't bother getting a console again if you're happy just PC gaming.

Re: PS5 thread
My PC also has my TV nearby and have an Xbox controller for it so can still sit and relax if I feel like it.
I built the PC last summer after not owning a gaming PC since 2007. I'd been mac since then. But when I got left money after my dad passed in decided it was now or never to build a decent one. To be honest I was fed up with my PS4 Pro and PS5 didn't really have anything that stood out.
I will probably get one for GTA6 as the PC release will still be a long way off. 5 took ages to get the PC release and still hasn't gotten the PS5 extras like RT and everything else it added.

Re: PS5 thread
I got fed up of waiting for Sony to release some official Black Plates for my PS5 Pro and finally caved and ordered some from Ali for £17.20 and they only took 4 days to ship to the UK and they are top quality, i can definitely recommend if anyone else has a Pro and would prefer Black.
