V6 output sockets
Is there a way of connecting the V6 to a non HD TV, that only has SCART INPUT, no HDMI sockets?

Re: V6 output sockets
Not officially no. Although some people have managed it with HDMI > SCART converters
However no guarantee they'll always work and no support from Virgin Media if they don't.

Re: V6 output sockets
Thanks, I have been looking at the details of these so called converters, some will function over short distances, but can be very "iffy"

Re: V6 output sockets
There's a useful discussion here from earlier this year and will shed light on some of the problems with HDMI to SCART converions.

Re: V6 output sockets
Thanks, some very useful info there.
Could be a lot more convenient, just to change the TV, to a new one.

Re: V6 output sockets
Just buy a modern 4k TV if you can afford it, that is compatible with BBC iPlayer 4k streams as alot of 4k TVs don't support it.

Re: V6 output sockets
Not just a case of "a TV" a little bit more complicated, it actually involves 5
TV's in a property.
All have been fixed in position, wall mounted. They are connected to a SKY system.
The new owner intends to install V.M. of course.
Until I remove them and can see what is, it is a lot of an unknown, 'cept that I
can see that they are a good few years old.
