SH3 in Modem mode connectd to Orbi06 Mesh - problems with Wi-Fi

Hi, I have a Super Hub3 which is VERY flakey and I'm not achieving anywhere near the speed I should (and that's when I actually get a connection!). I tried TPLink extender plugs which helped but I've now installed a Netgear Orbi06 mesh system (with the SH3 in Modem Mode with Wi-Fi turned off). At first I got a brilliant Wi-Fi connection on my laptop but then I changed the router password (as advised for security) and now I'm having problems connecting via WiFi (currently using an ethernet cable). My laptop says "can't connect to this network" and won't let me even put the new wi-fi password in. Can anyone suggest what to do please? When I've connected my laptop via wi-fi I need to connect my Amazon devices - Show x1, Dot x1, Echo x2, Fire TV Sticks x3. I've tried going into the Amazon Ap and selecting a device but I'm not getting an option to update the wi-fi settings. When that's done, I need to connect a Ring Doorbell2, Philips Hue lights and Hive thermostat (the last 2 are connected to the Orbi router via ethernet cables, do I need to do anything else?) The Orbi router is connected to the Virgin Media 'Modem' via ethernet cable. Any tips regarding all of these devices would be appreciated . I've managed to connect my mobile phone and Amazon Fire tablet via wi-fi. Thanks in advance.

Re: SH3 in Modem mode connectd to Orbi06 Mesh - problems with Wi-Fi

You will need to press forget network and then try connecting again on the laptop. It's a better idea when changing the password to also change the SSID as all your devices will be trying to connect to your SSID with the old password

Re: SH3 in Modem mode connectd to Orbi06 Mesh - problems with Wi-Fi

Thank you jb66. I managed to solve the problem with my laptop. I told it to ignore the Orbi06 and then I saw another Orbi06 wi-fi icon, clicked on that and BINGO!!! It allowed me to enter my new password. By the way, my wi-fi speed has now increased from 20mbps to 63 (93 when wired by ethernet - I pay for 100mbps).
Re. Amazon and other devices: Once I connected the Echo Show (swiping the screen - which I had forgotten about, then selecting wi-fi and following the instructions), I was able to put the new password in and then connect the Echo's and Dot. My Hive and Hue hubs 'talked' to Alexa then - they are hard-wired not Wi-fi. I'm one tired but happy bunny now.
