Apple Juice and Pancreatitis
Has anyone else on here ever suffered from Pancreatitis? and if so do you know if its true that apple juice helps in recovery of this? A taxi driver i spoke to yesterday stated hes had pancreatitis twice and his G.P told him about apple juice and it helped him but no ones mentioned it to me.
The reason i ask im suffering from it for the 6th time since Easter 2017 and its even made me have to have life saving surgery back in November last year as i have a psudo cyst on my pancreas which exploded causing sepsis.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thought it was nil by mouth that helps more. For at least 3-4 days.

That and IV fluids for a few days I understand.
Apple juice is high in fructose that upsets the liver and raises blood sugar levels. Perhaps that could tip the balance towards developing diabetes as well.

The only advice I've heard about the disease is to avoid alcohol.

i had IV Fluids on wednesday night when i was admitted to hospital over night but it was never nil by mouth.
