Do VM have any plans to introduce HDR?

BT TV starts using HDR from 9/4/19 and Sky is said to start sometime this summer.

Does anyone know if VM have any plans to use it too?

Re: Do VM have any plans to introduce HDR?

I would be interested to know your source of information on HDR coming to BT TV in a few weeks.

Re: Do VM have any plans to introduce HDR?

BTtv have not said they are doing HDR - the BT Sports promo implies it is via apps.

BTtv do not have a HDR compatible HDR box.

And as Spiderplant says - the V6 box has had it nearly a year now.

That's good, they ought to promote this as a selling point (unless they have & i've missed it).

No broadcast channel currently has HDR as far as I know.

It's Netflix that has HDR currently and then iPlayer when they show HLG content (one of the reasons why the 4K Football trial was on the V6 last year).

Sky in Italy show certain events over satellite in HDR.

Ah ok , the UK for Sky Sports is supposedly this year for live Sporting HDR broadcasts more than likely to be F1 and EPL games.
