Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2019)
Freesports is down and Service Status is reporting a fix estimate of 28/2/19 @ 22:40 (I'm in Scotland, Area 10 Dundee & Fife)
"You might find that you are not able to watch Freesports channel 553 on your Virgin Media TV Catch Up, On Demand or TV Choice service at the moment."

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2019)
The new Channel Guide PDF for March is now live:
https://www.virginmedia.com/content/...rch2019_V1.pdf
https://www.virginmedia.com/content/...rch2019_V1.pdf
They still haven't removed GINX (290) which disappeared from Virgin Media in October last year, and Worldbox (834) which closed down last month.
536 should be Racing TV HD, not Racing UK HD.
Comedy Central, Comedy Central HD and Comedy Central +1 are being made available to all Virgin TV customers from 3rd March to 2nd April.

You wonder who compiles these Channel Guide's sometimes as they are always ridden with mistakes.

Yep, they are.
There also looks to be a problem with the EPG. Two Channel 4 programmes look to be set to record from Channel 711 (the former home of CBeebies HD).
If this isn't noticed by customers or fixed by VM, people will end up recording a channel moved slate instead of what they were expecting!
Has anyone else noticed this in Planned Recordings?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2019)
Just noticed that VM still haven't fixed the glitch that means viewers who don't get Crime + Investigation in their package can watch it for free via the TV Go app.
Sometimes their mistakes actually have benefits to customers!

Not as bad as the subtitle people Den. Just seen a glorious rendition of the song 'Windmills of your mind' ; the subtitlers interpreted the lyrics as 'Windows of your mind'. I'd swear they're half deaf !

Would you like to re-phrase that, as I'm really sorry to say that your post makes no sense.

I think it is 99% automated - so a computer mes-hearing and the error not being spotted later.

So much for computers being error free.

On live programmes, maybe it's understandable getting the subtites wrong. However on song lyrics, there's no excuse, unless the artiste is making it up as they go along !
