If it's for an X-box Den it must be USB 3.0 or won't work apparently.
As others have said WD are reliable, i've also found Seagate to be pretty good.
There are multiple 4TB drives on Amazon for well under £100. Watch out for slower usb 2 versions which are sometimes still available.

Since when did USB 3.0 not become backwards compatable?

If you're referring to the X-box comment, it is simply what Microsoft state if you're using additional storage for the X-box One.

Re: External hard drives

How about this 8TB on offer for £114 using code 5OFF1UK also possibly 7.35% off if bought through Topcashback.

https://www.wd.com/en-gb/products/ex...GB0080HBK-EESN

Amazon also sell this for £120,so not sure if this is the usual price!

---------- Post added at 22:54 ---------- Previous post was at 22:09 ----------

Ebay currently has a 20% off so now is the time to order!

Re: External hard drives

Have you considered a NAS drive instead? Lots have USB ports fordirect connection but also connect to your network to users can pick up files wirelessly. For a few quid more, you get a lot more functionality.

Something like this might fit the bill - https://www.wd.com/en-gb/products/pe...XC0040HWT-EESN

Any luck on ebay as the 20% off code works until 27th July from selected sellers so you should be able to get a deal?
