l think the impacts will be felt even more down the line as other rights come up and competition intensifies even more.

I agree 100 % , the market has never been more competitive meaning more and more firms are looking to sell their existing customer base more products as you say 36 % means there's plenty of growth left in trying to sell your existing base more. Sky Go extra was also pretty impressive gaining 219,000 this last quarter taking it too 385,000 with around 3.3 million Sky Go users there's also plenty potential to upsell with this product. The 37,000 quarterly TV adds includes Now TV also so traditional TV adds are pretty much flat in my opinion.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Just noticed an email from Sky giving me a free HD movie of my choice, just have to go to the tv guide and select the one I want to watch Don't subscribe to movies so it's a nice offer and so easy to take advantage!
See that Iron Man 3, Star trek in to darkness, Deam man down etc are all an option. Sky continue to impress me, time after time

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Is El Classico tomorrow going to have a 15 minutes delay or are we going to miss the first 10-15min due to British broadcasting regulations ?

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Thank you. Shame we miss 15mins but at least it'll be live after that. a 15min delay would have played in my mind throughout

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
SKY could have put a delayed version on the red button. By the time those watching the first half on 15 mins delay reached half time, they would be just in time to watch the second half go out live.
I'm not saying that simply missing the first 15 mins is right or wrong, I would have liked a choice.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
ye that would have been a nice option and would be covering all angles. That said half time will probably cover most of the first 15mins.
It cannot be ignored though that LaLiga has again not accommodated for us

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Does anyone have any background on this 5:15 UEFA ruling?
It seems absurd to me but I'm sure there's some logic involved.

There is no logic involved when it comes to the governing bodies.
