dynamode wireless router problem

Hi all, newbie here and desperate for help!!!

Firstly I’m on virgin and I run a wireless router from the set top box, off of the router I run a desktop PC through a wireless USB dongle and a wireless laptop (basically I have no wires out of the router)

I lost my internet connection the other day, at 1st I thought it was just the server being down, but it was off for hours. So after trying all I knew (reboot box etc) I phoned the Virgin tech people up, after hours of messing about I got my internet connection back BUT only when I bypassed the router, and connected up via LAC.

The tech folk reckon it’s a problem with my router, I tried the router again and I lost connection, and the strange thing is when I reconnected to LAC I still had no connection! To get past this I had to enable then disable the LAC about 5 times on the trot and that restored my IP which in turn connected me to the web.

Any ideas ???

Cheers in advance.
