Kaspersky Internet Security not updating

Im having a problem with this not automatically updating.

it should auto update at least twice a day but now im getting errors to check internet connection and everything is fine.

Anyone have any ideas what it can be?

As soon as i go through the motions of manually updating it works fine so i cant see it being a firewall issue for example.

Re: Kaspersky Internet Security not updating

The first thing i would do is completely remove it and reinstall, hopefully that will sort it.

Re: Kaspersky Internet Security not updating

Years ago, I once had a virus that disabled the anti virus updater in order to protect itself.

I am assuming you uninstalled all preferences to it and rebooted after?

Also have a read of this link and the comment from people with a similar problem.

Re: Kaspersky Internet Security not updating

Some odd reason i just checked Kaspersky and its randomly started to auto update again without any intervention from myself.

I'm wondering if they have issues their end for a time that was affecting it.
