RIP Don S Davis

Better known to us all as General George Hammond from Stargate - he died sunday morning from a heart attack at home, he quit the series with health issues - he had had ongoing heart problems and diabetes. Age 65

Watched an ep of x-files last night which he was in, looked pretty young really.

Remember him from the early SG1 days,feels kinda weird.

It's only when you look back at some of the really old episodes of SG-1 that you realise how far it's drifted from where it started. It's gone kind of the way Star Trek did, much too obsessed with its own universe and mythos with too little attention to just telling good, self-contained sci-fi adventure stories.

so I thought I'd mention that Freema Agyeman (Martha - Dr Who) has a leading role in the BBC revival of the Survivors series due to be shown later this year.

don't worry i don't like her she almost broght dr to it's knees last year with her bad acting
