My Dad had to take Mum to A&E this morning as Mum has an enlarged gallbladder and appendix,she is on morphine and a drip, she had a x-ray and is now waiting on the surgeon.

Hope she feels better soon, gallbladder pain is horrible. The only good thing about it was the morphine!!

My own experience of being on morphine is one it certainly takes away the pain and two is the crazy dreams l kept getting.

Got up 7 o'clock this morning for the plumber to fix our boiler with a part he said a month ago was needed after it's annual service. He told me he had had his appendix out, that is why he hadn't been in touch. He didn't arrive, but phoned me tonight as though nothing was untowards. Now I have to go through the whole thing again tomorrow, hope he arrives 7.45am as I have to go for a heart scan.

Mum had a poor night last night but she has improved today just talking to my Dad.
At the moment though she is not strong enough to have a operation according to the surgeon.
