they mention the woking area which means their almost on to my area, Im in Ashtead so not too far away..

Doh! why can't they make a 2nd config, gold_temp.cm or something and move everyone on that who has the NEW box onto that and keep everyone else on gold.cm until they get the new box. *sigh*

Well, today I got swapped over to SACM and now that the autoregister server is back up & running properly, I've been able to register the modem and......

1st 128K took 718 ms = 182552 Bytes/sec = approx 1519 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 703 ms = 186447 Bytes/sec = approx 1551 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 704 ms = 186182 Bytes/sec = approx 1549 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 718 ms = 182552 Bytes/sec = approx 1519 kbits/sec

I've had my STB upgraded a few weeks ago, still no 1.5MB on in here in Manchester. Anyone got the 1.5MB on their new Samsung STB yet?

Oh well looks like time to jump ship, sick of being ****ed around by NTL! over 6 months they have had to sort this out, why they couldn't swap the boxes earlier I will never know

What's happened here?

Are you just after a Samsung for the 1.5mb service, or is it a SACM your after?

Either way I can see what I can do if you like. SACM is definitely no problem at all.
