And as expected the Taffia is expecting to be treated the same as a nation with a greater population and financial contribution... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-29271322
All the while forgetting that the WA can't organise alcohol-based merriment in a brewery.

Re: Will Scotland Leave the UK?
Good morning, Great Britain. . Very glad that's over. We won the war, now it's time to win the peace.
In other news ... BBC Scotland's output is like an episode of KYTV this morning. I think the night shift are still at the controls. It's a mess.

So now the electioneering continues for the 2015 election..Oh what fun seeing as they have been at it for at least a year now...The referendum was just a slight burp in the middle..but the media storm will just continue ever onwards..

Oh shut up gloating. You got your wish, so stop rubbing it in. I really hope Cameron is kicked out of office next year now. Bribed them into voting no, and what about the rest of us in the UK? Do we not matter? Posh twit. Would rather see Farage running the country, unfortunately it would only be a coalition with the backstabber.

Here in Scotland we have been suffering the nationalists attempts to vandalise our country for nearly 2 years, and now we have finally won. You are going to have to put up with a lot more gloating yet.

Oh yes let's vote for the man who screws as much as he can from the taxpayer via his MEP expenses and intends standing as an MP at the same time with access to more expenses and a wage increase at the taxpayers expense..Oh yes he'll be a change from the upper class twits..

Re: Will Scotland Leave the UK?
Got to say the Yes lot are very bitter and some amount of hateful FB updates this morning from friends.
They didn't deserve a win with their behaviour.
Just hope that all those new armchair politics experts remember to turn out next year for the general election.

I thought I would love it when Scotland voted No and I could see all the Yes people upset but it didn't happen. Now I just feel a bit gutted for them whilst happy No won.
No point holding onto anger after an election. Doesn't do anyone any good.

Re: Will Scotland Leave the UK?
I cant work out the final poll from last night.
BBC/Sky says that
55.3% voted NO with just over 2m votes.
44.7% voted YES with just over 1.6m votes.
Why is 0.4m is 10% win?
More like 52%/48% win to NO.

Re: Will Scotland Leave the UK?
I take it math is not your strong point
Total voters = 3.6m, 2m = 55% of the total, 1.6m = 45% of the total (roughly, its actually more like 55.55 and 44.45).
Its not 52/48.

Were you off the day they did percentages at school?
2/3.6 X 100 = 55.56%
1.6/3.6 X 100 = 44.44%
edit: too slow; Paul M has a faster calculator
