Re: RIP Eddie Large
Talk about blasts from the past, I just did a check on Syd Little (or Cyril Mead) and he is still alive. Apparently Eddie and Little have not spoken in years...
R.I.P Eddie.

That's a quote from 2010 if you're reading the same Wikipedia entry I am. They did appear together more recently on TV.
Quote:
In 2018, both Little and Large appeared on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway featuring in their sketch serial "Saturday Knight Takeaway". In February 2019 Little and Large appeared together as a pair on Pointless Celebrities. They reached the head-to-head round (in effect, the semi-final).

They also did a Specsavers ad together earlier this year.

Very sad i liked him on tv,but how do they put this down to covid19, he was in hospital for heart problems, if i recall correctly he had already had a heart transplant he was on borrowed time.

Most other deaths being recorded as due to Covid-19 are for people with other conditions.
It's not the existing condition that is the actual cause, it's the additional problem of Covid-19 and it's associated health effects that is the cause, and that is what is being recorded.

You could claim we all have of pre-existing condition of getting older. People are dyng earlier than they would have done even if they had an existing condition, some much earlier. This isn't seasonal flu, it's much more serious as we don't have a vaccine yet. If the old hadn't been quarantined we would have a catastrophe on our hands. As it is we have a major crisis and it shouldn't be downplayed.
Anyway RIP Eddie.
