Rare Coins
Just picked up a rare 2017 Sir Isaac Newton 50 Pence piece in my change, not sure if it will be worth much but it is meant to be 1 of the rarest in circulation currently, i have various other rare 50 pence and £2 coins too.
Does anyone else have a collection of rare coins?

Re: Rare Coins
I have 3 Mrs Tiddywinkle 50p coins, they are selling on Ebay for £2,000.
But mine are staying put.

Is anyone buying them for 2k? Thought not considering it's one of the most common coins in circulation, the rarest one is the tower in Kew gardens. I have football which is the 2nd rarest and is the pitch with some rules written on the edges.

I've got 2-6 on this list and most others on it. One of the Olympic swimming coins had the face coloured out or not coloured out depending on what the norm, that one is rare but it's a mistake.

If it's a new release it'll be the list I posted that's out of date but it'll come down to circulation in the end, that's why Kew gardens is so rare iirc only 10000 were released 10 times fewer than the next one on the list, that's again iirc I don't pay that much attention to it

The list i saw was 1. Kew Gardens at 210K then 2. Sir Isaac Newton 1.8 million, but i may have got it wrong.

EDIT
The graph on this page gives the mintage when hovered over if it is correct i don't know.

Re: Rare Coins
I have one of the "AK47" fivers that were all the rage last year. Mine is especially rare because it has an image of Gary Oldman (done up like Churchill) on the reverse. It's genuine and I put it up for auction.
Some ebayers are rather rude people

My son has a coin with the Queen doing a cartwheel with her skirt over her head showing her bloomers on the reverse.
