Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2018)
Is there any news of a UI refresh to TiVo? The recently updated US TiVo interface looks clean and modern. It leaves the existing VM TiVo UI looking pretty dated in comparison which is long overdue a refresh IMO.

'Interested in our Virgin TV V6 box? If you haven’t got one yet, something exciting is just around the corner. Sit tight – we’ll be getting in touch with our TV bundle customers from February.'
Any ideas?

The "Awesome things are round the corner" bit made me cringe. Nothing like trying to get down with the kids and their use of Americanisms.

Indeed he was as we disagreed at times but nevertheless his opinion is just important as somebody elses.

I thought when Sony bought TruTV in the UK they would eventually get rid of True Crime or TruTV as they are basically the same type of channel. Closing Sony Channel and True Crime and replacing with a combination of the two is equivalent of closing a channel.
|
Relaunching their True Crime channel as the Sony Crime Channel seems fine, but if they are indeed closing down the main Sony Channel that's quite a shock and a sudden change in strategy.
All the headlines are about Sony adding a new free channel but should be about Sony abandoning pay TV.

I've never accused you of that mate, but did you mean that he was accusing you of trolling?

No mate not him or you or most who post in here, i was refering to a certain poster they know who they are.
But that was then, this is now and i have been given a rumour and OB is going to be very happy, BBC UHD may start testing on vms v6 within next 3 months.
I agree with other JJ20x will be missed he was a great contributer to the forums i only hope one day he returns.

True crime will not become Sony crime 2, Sony are closing True crime channel and merging it into one channel with Sony channel which will be renamed.

Yes, good to read it is coming, but I'm disappointed for sports enthusiasts that this won't be in time for the Winter Olympics.
Unless, of course, VM propose to stream from Eurosport UHD. However, I would have thought that we'd know about that by now if it was happening.
I agree about missing jj20x. Nobody should let one contributor put you off posting. I'm afraid that unwelcome personal remarks are a fact of life on discussion forums and social media.
