I imagine that form is to work out the level of interest from their customers. If there's sufficient interest, then they may well be willing to stretch a little bit more financially to make sure they acquire the channels for the VM platform.

Exactly. I think £10 is very reasonable considerin the level of rights they have acquired compared to Setanta and ESPN who also charged a tenner.
I think BT customers will only get it free if they take fibre bb.

Whilst a tenner is very good value considering the sheer range of sporting rights they've snapped up, I can't help thinking that those of us who've got used to espn being included in the xl pack will struggle to justify the extra outlay. But for Sky customers, and Virgin customers on lower tiers, who are already paying an espn sub, £10 represents good value.
