The OA

The OA - a mystery, fantasy series that popped up on Netflix a few weeks ago.

About a young lady who has been missing for several years and comes home to her family. But where has she been and what has she been doing all this time....?

If you like weird, then this series is for you! Half the time I wanted to switch this off and the other time I wanted to keep watching. I watched the lot over the New Year long weekend.

All I can say to give you a clue without ruining the series, the young lady may, or may not, be a Jesus like character....

This is is the kind of show which if Netflix or Amazon didn't exist, would fit on HBO rather than the standard Sci-Fi channel fare.

The most similar series I can think of which is a bit similar is a HBO show from several years ago called "John From Cincinnati". I absolutely loved that, whereas this, I'm not sure... But as said, I watched the whole lot anyway.

Re: The OA

On the second series now and it's just getting better and more perplexing.

The programme deals with dimensional shifting at will.

Re: The OA

I agree, it's getting quite interesting after a bit of a slow start.
