The Ladykillers 10/10
This is a wonderful film from the Ealing Studios. Apart from an excellent well known cast there is also the wonderful old lady who plays a great part in the film as well.

A better Daniel-Day-Lewis film was My Left Foot or there is In the Name of the Father as well Tinky.

I actually enjoyed that - it highlighted the ethos and mores of the day, and how people bowed to the pressures of family and society (and as far, for the time, from a Martin Scorsese film you would normally expect).....

Indeed Hugh as the title of the film suggests a time of gentile manners/thoughts/morals never to be repeated in our lifetimes, if ever.

Cowboys & Aliens 9/10, think of it as "A few dollars more" meets "Independance day"
I did expect Daniel Craig to say "The names Bond, James Bond"

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 7/10. Enjoyable movie even if it did make the other half cry.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
7/10. Or maybe 8....
A very enjoyable sequel to Ritchie's surprisingly good first Holmes film.
RDJ and Law are on top form again, and Jared Harris was great as Moriarty. Nice to see Stephen Fry as Mycroft too.
Oh and...

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
[Although the Flixster app lists it as "Mission Improvable"]
Great stuff. Great action, great gadgets. I'd like one of those iPad powered projector wall things.
7ish out of 10. Not sure if I prefer this or the third, but they're definitely both better than 1 & 2 IMO.
Some thoughts:
