I think you must have been unlucky, Raider, but every company has problems from time to time. Yours may have been one of those problems that took time to fix.

I agree that this is unacceptable if it continues.

I suffered regularly with outages when I was last with Virgin Media for broadband we are in an ex Telewest area , we also suffered with high Demand meaning On Demand wasn't available at peak times when you actually wanted to sit down and watch something.

To be fair this was a while back so have no idea if this has improved of late.

It may well be linked, but if so I would think it is a very localised issue, maybe even just to that one cabinet. The Lewisham network in general is in pretty good shape. It was widely rebuilt a few years ago.
